The Regulatory Affairs Department of Teknor Apex Company administers the following areas of government regulations, voluntary consensus standards and compliance to internal product / process requirements:

  • Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
  • North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)
  • NSF International
  • Proposition 65 in California
  • Automotive Material Restrictions, including End-of-Life Vehicles (ELV) and IMDS
  • Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
  • Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals (REACH)
  • Teknor Position on REACH
  • Internal formula restrictions
  • Electrical and Electronic Equipment Restriction on Hazardous Substances (RoHS)
  • Other miscellaneous programs

Specifically, the Teknor Apex Company Regulatory Affairs Team will:

  • Facilitate compliance with all international, federal, state and local Regulatory requirements for our products;
  • Provide Regulatory Certifications to our Customers in a timely manner;
  • Provide technical as well as regulatory guidance and support services to the Company and our Customers;
  • Communicate and coordinate Regulatory Affairs programs, procedures and objectives throughout the organization;
  • Influence local, state, and federal regulatory development primarily through industry groups;
  • Continuously evaluate Teknor Apex Company's regulatory performance and implementation of its Regulatory Programs
