Product Description


Uniprene® TPVs are composed of a fully cross-linked elastomeric phase finely dispersed in a thermoplastic matrix. The result is functional performance similar to the high elastic recovery of vulcanized rubber but with the processability of plastic.

Characteristics


Uniprene® TPVs are excellent alternatives to thermoset rubber, silicone rubber and TPUs.

  • High elastic recovery
  • Non-hygroscopic characteristics usually eliminating the need for predrying
  • Light natural color. Excellent whitening index permitting easy coloring with the reduction of color loading level
  • Wide service temperature range allowing for good flexibility at low temperatures
  • Excellent low compression set at room and elevated temperatures (125°C)
  • Recyclable
  • Easily processable on standard thermoplastic equipment
  • Excellent weatherability

Uniprene® TPV compounds are categorized into three standard series as noted in the Uniprene® Selection Guide for your review:

  • 7100-Series: General Purpose Grades
  • 7010-Series: Regulated Grades
  • 2000-Series: Super soft Grades
